The first UGC committee was formed in the College during August, 2011.
As per the decision of the Teachers Council meeting held on 4th July 2017 the UGC committee for the current academic session formed with the following members.
To oversee the effective implementation of policies, programmes and financial assistance of the UGC plan grants for overall development of the college.
a) To prepare proposal for receiving financial assistance from UGC.
b) To properly implement the policies and plan as per UGC guidelines.
c) To look after proper utilization of the financial assistance received from time to time.
d) To ensure proper development of the Colleges consisting of overall monitoring of the project plans.
UGC Planning Board
As per UGC XII plan (2012-2017) guidelines published on the UGC website, the UGC has recommended formation of “Planning Board” to prepare and monitor proposals submitted/ sanctioned under UGC XII plan under various schemes. The Planning Board will be responsible for implementation of schemes sanctioned under UGC XII Plan.
As per UGC XII plan and guidelines and recommendations, the college has formed “Planning Board”.
The composition of present “Planning Board” is as follows:
